The J.G. Kurtzman Sign Shop is Norwalk Connecticut's oldest established producer of high quality signs and associated creative communication since 1959. Originating from the days when it was necessary to serve an apprenticeship for correct old-world knowledge for sign making and sign writing, the Kurtzman shop continues to provide their services to several communities. The Kurtzman shop is currently a father and son business, with Greg being the knowledgeable, experienced computer man, and John the artistic mentor.

Shop services include computerized thermal printing, vinyl lettering, hand- and machine-carved signs, ornamental wood carving, sandblasted signs, custom wrought iron signs and ornamental brackets, banners, store fronts, hand lettering, hand carved eagles, gold and silver leaf applications, custom furniture, hand-painted canework on antique autos, and hand-painted illustrations.
